Logo / Labels

My passion is to support small buisnesses and help them expand their reach. With the ease of online shopping, small businesses really have to utilize any resource they can to attract revenue. I was blessed with the opportunity to help this business from the very begining by creating their logo and, I continue to create the lables and packaging materials from my home office.

Isn’t it wonderful to purchase a product made right in your own community. It’s even more special when it comes from God’s creation. We can learn a lot from the bees that created the honey and wax used in these products. Each member of the hive plays an important roll in their community. We all play an important roll in our communities as well.

This business continues to grow and expand and with each new product and new challenge is presented. Starting out it was just honey labels. I created a lable for the quart and pint jars. The biggest challenge with that was getting the ink to not come off when you picked up a jar. Using a laminate sheet over the labels before cutting them out solved that issues but increased cost some. The honey bear lables presented a new problem with editing the logo to fit in the space provided on the bottle.

The company began to expand into other products as well. Soap made with beef tallow and lip balm. The soap was easy enough it just needed another version of the honey logo but the lip balm created a bigger challenge. I ordered precut labels for the lip balm tubes and they came with a template. I then had to recreate the logo to fit and get the ingredients and required information on the label. Using the template provided with the labels I created the label in one program and pasted it into the template for printing.
